Due to increases in bunker surcharges in the Baltic Sea, we have been forced to make separate Fuel Surcharges on Finland.

Current fuel surcharges are normally not included in quotations.

Road Taxes

Czech Road Tax

With effect from 1 January 2012 the Czech government decided to raise the Czech road tax.

The distance-based road tax will be imposed on all vehicles over 12 ton in weight, depending on the number of axles and Euronorm.

Therefore we are forced to adjust our charges both to and from the Czech Republic, as well as shipments crossing the country in transit, effective from 1 February 2012.

Due to the significant increases between the Norwegian and Swedish currencies in relation to the Danish Krone, DHL Freight (Denmark) is compelled to introduce a currency surcharge on these countries with effect from 01/05/2010.

The supplement, which is variable, will be continuously adjusted in relation to price movements.

The rates as of 01/03/2012 are:
Sweden: 5,2%
Norway: 4,75%

Due to the ongoing increases between the Swiss currencies in relation to the Danish Krone, DHL Freight (Denmark) is compelled to introduce a currency surcharge.

The supplement, which is variable, will be continuously adjusted in relation to price movements.

The rate as of 1.03.2012 is 3,0 %
